Sometimes a man needs an excuse for buying some new tools. Occasionally, I buy tools that are relevant to the job at hand.

Bathroom Rework
Eventually most rooms in a house need to be redone. Wet rooms need doing more often.
Garden Rework
Doing up the garden, because it’s not like we could go on holiday anywhere.
Kitchen Refit
Technically not DIY, but definitely a home improvement. Paying someone else to do it was a very wise decision.
Fencing
An Englishman’s home is his castle, and mine needed some new ramparts.
Decking
The old playhouse had become unused, unloved and unsafe
