In November of 2001 we scooted up to the Lake District for a couple of days to attend the wedding of a friend Kas used to work with.

A long weekend in the Czech capital, enjoying architecture, history and beer.
A week spent on holiday in Madeira, which is probably the most beautiful place I’d ever visited up to that point.
The turn of the millenium heralded a year in which practically everyone we knew decided to get married, including ourselves.
Oh I do like to be beside the seaside, especially when it’s the Red Sea and we were on honeymoon. A good way to end the trip.
A short week in Cairo doing touristy things in one of the biggest tourist magnets on the planet. It was good though.
A week of cruising up the Nile, getting regularly sunburnt and dehydrated, whilst getting seriously templed-out.

1995 saw me living in Milton Keynes but being invlved in a project that required me to make trips to Malaysia.
Several trips to the USA. One to Houston and one to Anaheim for business trips, plus a two-week grand tour of Colorado, Arizona and Utah.
In 1993 I gave up the gravy train and moved to Milton Keynes, where I bought my first house and car. I’m still here.

In 1991 I was living in Edinburgh but the highlight was undoubtedly my first ever trip across the pond to visit the USA.
1990 – a year I spent living in three different countries and travelling to several others. And there was some top quality football on too.
