Much excitement in the Gardner household on this day, or at least I was quite excited, because it was my first caching trip out in the new motor.
In a very rare turn of events, someone decided that they’d hold the 30th installment of the Hertfordshire “Happening” events in Bedfordshire.
The day after the moderately epic trip up to Rutland and Stamford, and the girls were all still away in Sunderland, so I figured I might as well go hit the tupperware again.
Rutland is small, isn’t it ? I mean, not microscopically small, but in the context of English counties it is small. It’s the smallest, apparently. Except that it isn’t !
Good Friday, and in caching terms, it turned out to be exactly that. I headed over towards Cambridge to begin an assault on the CacheAthon series
The teachers were on strike, so someone had to look after the kids. I did my bit by taking Ami with me to Letchworth for a bit of caching on our bikes.
Ami’s been singing a certain well known song written by Keane and covered by Lily Allen for several weeks now, because it’s going to be included in her school assembly.
Apparently one should go to church on a Sunday. I’m not sure if it counts when you go to 7 different churches and all you do is look for tupperware.
