Very personal travel diaries of our various family holidays around the world, either as a complete family or in smaller groups.
Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all of one’s lifetime.

Marrakech Express

Marrakech Express

A corporate jolly in Marrakech to celebrate my professional achievements of 2009.

La Rochelle

La Rochelle

A repeat visit for a couple of weeks to one of my favourite locations. This time we had two children and two grandparents with us.

Ahhhh, Brussels, the home of the sprout. Kas and me made a trip in February 2007 when it was still the depths of winter and it was pretty cold.

Skiing in Meribel. Well, I skied. Kas, Ami, Dennis and Linda did a lot of swimming, sitting in cafes and meeting me at the tops of mountains.

La Rochelle

La Rochelle

A week on the beautiful west coast of France. It was so hot, it was more like sun-snogged than sun-kissed.

Les Arcs

Les Arcs

Skiing in Les Arcs, and overlooked by the totally mad “Speed Skiing” course.

A week in Northumberland enjoying one of Britains best, and least known, bits of coastline.

Wet in Whistler

Wet in Whistler

In early 2005 Kas and me went skiing in Whistler with the Burlaces. The weather was a bit suspect.
