Charlie’s First Loop

Charlie’s First Loop

This was the first of a whole load of new caching series in Milton Keynes entitled “Charlie’s Loops” – This one looked appealing enough to warrant a day off work to do them.

The Twin Turbine Trail

The Twin Turbine Trail

A long Saturday walk through some rolling hills on the border between Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

Examining London

Examining London

I had a professional exam to take after a period of, well I’d like to call it “intensive study” but it would probably be better to call it “not being bothered” over the summer.

Big Days in Kent

Big Days in Kent

A couple of big days out in Kent while Kas took the kids up north for a few days.

Elsworth Excursion

Elsworth Excursion

My first day out caching after our rather epic journey to the Algarve for our summer holiday. The weather was quite Algarvian though.

Coming Home

Coming Home

A long journey home with a very early start, and a ridiculous delay at the airport.
Just what you need to make the reality sink back in again.

The Final Day

The Final Day

A day with no particular plans other than chilling and packing and drinking all the remaining beer out of the fridge. I increased the time pressure by going out caching all afternoon.

Back to Sagres

Back to Sagres

Our final day trip out and we were a bit stuck for where to go, so we started off by going somewhere we’d already been once.
And then we went to a couple of new (to us) and rather lovely places.

Zoomarine

Zoomarine

It seems every holiday has to have a visit to some kind of water themed amusement park.

Praia do São Rafael

Praia do São Rafael

This might have been another one in the series entitled “Not a Lot Happened”. It was saved by an afternoon trip to the nearby Praia do São Rafael.

Parasailing

Parasailing

What could be better than flying behind a big parachute over the open ocean ?
Or looking for bits of tupperware stuck up the side of a cliff ?

Seville

Seville

Seville is famous for its oranges, although most of them get shipped to Dundee to be turned into marmalade, allegedly.
We didn’t see many while we were there anyway.
