Cairo
Very well arranged piles of rock, and some old stuff in glass cases. And a posh hotel.
Luxor to Aswan by Boat
A week of boating up and down the Nile getting our fill of Egyptian history.
On Honeymoon
Nearly three weeks in Egypt by way of a little honeymoon celebration. It took “hot” to a whole new level.
Crete
In August 1999 Kas and me spent a week in Crete – our first ever “proper” summer holiday together. It was warm and sunny and very picturesque.
Portuguese Cities
A work based trip to a couple of Portuguese cities, punctuated by a weekend with the good lady wife in the capital.
Round the Matterhorn
A week of skiing in Cervinia and generally round the Matterhorn with my usual bunch of skiing buddies. Boy was it cold.
